Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romance ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic performances. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16, under the direction of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. After relocating into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in the southern part of California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo with classical Latin American music at private occasions. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects because of her love and enthusiasm for music. Ana is also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to sing the same.
